Sweet sustainability: PrimaFi Cocoa is a cocoa powder replacement which can achieve up to 45% sugar reduction in chocolate and confectionery.
Crafted using upcycled cocoa husks, this all-natural fibre is finely-milled for a smooth, rich chocolate experience loved by consumers.
Ordinarily discarded by the chocolate industry, cocoa husks are rich in protein, fibre and valuable bioactive compounds. We made it our mission to give these super-pods a sustainable ending.
Innovation for health
Roasted cocoa shells are micronised using a unique milling technology, resulting in a free-flowing powder with uniform consistency. PrimaFi Cocoa is an insoluble dietary fibre which can be used as a nutritious bulking agent in sugar-reduced confectionary and baked goods.
It is milled using a physical production process only, ensuring it maintains the delicious taste and deep aroma of rich chocolate.
Applications
PrimaFi Cocoa is available in both dark and light varieties for plain and milk chocolate applications:

Labelling
PrimaFi Cocoa is an all-natural micronised cocoa husk powder. It is fully approved by EFSA as a food ingredient and can be labelled as “Cocoa Shell Powder” or “Cocoa Fibre”.
